About Louisa Voice
Louisa Voice specializes in the design and delivery of next-generation voice solutions for small and medium businesses. Our solutions leverage best-in-class open-source voice and firewall technologies, leading edge IP phones, and cost-competitive partnerships with Internet Telephony Service Providers - all bundled together with excellent services and support.
Small and medium businesses have unique requirements for their business voice networks. We capture those requirements, inventory the current voice network configuration, build the future design, articulate the benefits, and outline a smooth migration plan. The end-result is a leading edge voice network, often with lower monthly recurring costs than the old network it replaced.
Unlike other businesses, Louisa Voice stays focused on voice and telecommunications services for small and medium business. When the customer needs are broader than voice, we leverage experienced IT professionals to deliver those needs with quality.
Our voice solutions use Voice over the Internet Protocol (VoIP) and IP trunking using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) signaling for connecting to the public phone network. For businesses with multiple locations and interconnections to the public phone network, SIP trunks can flatten the voice network, often resulting in cost savings.
The best way to explain what flattening the voice network really means is through an example. Suppose you own several restaurants - the traditional way for getting voice services into each location is to place a phone system in every restaurant and order telephone lines from your traditional voice carrier for each phone system.
With VoIP, one voice server can be installed to support phones across all restaurants through secure virtual private networks. There is one SIP trunk connection between the voice server and the public voice network that handles incoming and outgoing calls for all restaurants.
The number of simultaneous calls across a SIP trunk connections can be changed almost immediately, which means no more waiting for carrier technicians to install additional voice lines.
Voice minutes are shared across all restaurants, and competitive VoIP SIP trunk plans can be purchased based on those minutes and calling patterns. Most restaurants already have broadband pipes for data - Louisa Voice engineers the pipe to prioritize voice traffic over data so calls are consistently of high quality. We also monitor the broadband connections proactively, and work with providers to resolve network performance issues.
The voice server runs open source telephony software installed either on a dedicated hardware platform, or as a virtual appliance on a server supporting multiple applications.
Flattening the voice network is all about reducing the number of legacy voice servers in a customer network, eliminating legacy telephone circuits by re-using broadband connections for voice, and centralization of next-generation voice servers. The cost savings from flattening the voice network can be significant and frequently pays for capital investments to modernize the voice network in a short period of time.
Do you have a working PBX but want to reduce monthly voice costs to your current carrier? Louisa Voice can also help with strategies and solutions to reduce monthly telephony costs that can then be re-invested in new network upgrades.
That is what Louisa Voice is all about - helping small and medium enterprises deploy next-generation voice networks from savings associated with deploying VoIP, flattening of your current voice network, or simply finding ways to reduce voice network costs.
